On a small hilltop just outside the village of Bellon, nr. Aubeterre-Sur-Dronne, ‘La Maison Neuve’ is perfectly located to explore not only the Charente, but also the Atlantic Coast, the Gironde and the Dordogne.
For this year we are only offering 3 charming cottages all designed and created to a high standard with a great “home from home” feel.
All our cottages are well equipped to make your stay as comfortable as possible and all have a clean, airy and summery feel whilst retaining original stone features and character.
2 Bed. Cottage - south facing - 1 double room, 1 twin room, kitchen/dining room, large lounge, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room and private garden.
Dishwasher, sat.TV, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster etc.
3 Bed. Cottages - 1 double room, 2 twin rooms, open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area, 1 bathroom, 1 shower room.
TV/video player, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster etc.
Each cottage has its own private terrace with furnitue and BBQ provided and you are always free to use the extensive grounds.
A laundry room with washing machines, tumble dryer, irons and ironing boards is available on site.
Our swimming pool is 12 m x 6 m, between 1.2m and 2m deep and with roman steps at the shallow end. In addition and next to the large pool is a children’s splash pool for younger swimmers. The whole pool area is walled for your comfort and safety and on the surrounding terrace we provide sun loungers, parasols and a shaded area.The pool and pool area are lit for evening swimming.
|  | A £200 security deposit is payable for each gîte rented. Long term rentals by negotiation. Winter heating at additional cost. Payment by cheque or direct bank transfer. Bookings run from 4.30pm Saturday to 10am Saturday between
1 July and 1 September but at all other times we offer flexible booking periods. The number of guests staying in any gîte should not exceed the maximum number stated, unless by prior arrangement. | |
